Band Biography

Mean Molly's Trio

Mean Molly’s Trio was formed 3 years ago at a swap meet by Mark (Uncle Elvis) and Timm (Rev. Big Daddy G.). High school rivals who hadn’t seen each other in ten years, they bumped into each other rummaging through someone’s old record collection. After the usual banter a light of inspiration struck; Timm put down his Lightnin’ Hopkins and Mark the latest Mudhoney LP; they turned to each other and said, “Let’s start a band!” After a couple of jam sessions and a few tall boys Mark called on Clint (Stank) and asked him to drop in on rhythm guitar and keys, to that he gracefully declined. He had just picked up a fancy trap kit and wanted to try his hand on the skins. After wrastling around for a while he finally picked up a beat, dropped a groove, the rest, as they say... is living history!

"Uncle Elvis"

Uncle Elvis

Over Ten Years ago In high school Mark's parents 4 car, 2 story garage was host to daily jam sessions with a revolving line-up of musicians; including punk, folk, grunge, metal, experimental noise & goth rock players. The summers were sweltering hot, the winters were bone chillingly cold. The kids were the ones who had just got a cheap instrument from the pawn shop & didn't want to take lessons to learn how to play, the less you knew about playing the more fun we all had. Sessions happened everyday after school & when ever Mark could find somebody to skip with him.

He plays:
A couple of Black & White Left Handed Basses
Green Picks
2 stomp boxes, a Blue one & a Yellow one
a Blue Tube DI
Black Bass Amp with a Head with a couple cabs with some speakers

"Big Daddy"

Big Daddy

Playing guitar since he was a child, Timm learned the ropes during song service in church. Spending several years playing heavy metal, he soon became bored and moved on. Finding B. B. King, Lightnin' Hopkins, John Lee Hooker and Gatemouth Brown, he changed directions once again. The Black Keys and Tom Waits soon moved in and Timm's house is now entirely too crowded. Friday nights often find him in a house dress, sipping Fair Trade Coffee, watching Full House and cross-stitching profiles of gatemouthed hookers.

He plays:
Gibsons, Tele's, and acoustic guitars
A beat up Fender tube amp
Custom speaker box
A bluish tremolo & a shiny wah
DR Strings
Vintage-y Shure micamaphone
Larry's Beans Fair Trade, Shade Grown, Organic Coffee (Louie Supremo is best, but he also likes Frank Sumatra)

"Stank Deuce"

Stank

Clint is a man of many talents. Aside from the drums, he also plays many other instruments; a list too long and boring to type out. He teaches music at night and attends college during the day. He lives in Roy and sometimes a boxcar.

He plays:
Pearl Forum Trap Kit
Sabian cymbals
Evans skins
Roundish type wooden sticks, endorsed by some guy in Rush.
